Edfu Temple

Edfu Temple
Travel along the Nile River for approximately 2 hours to reach Edfu, where you’ll visit the Temple of Horus. This temple is considered one of the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. It was constructed during the Ptolemaic era between 237 and 57 BC. Your experienced guide will help you discover the historical and architectural significance of this temple.
Kom Ombo Temple
After exploring Edfu, continue your journey for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Kom Ombo, located approximately 70 kilometers south of Edfu. Here, you’ll visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, a double temple dedicated to Haroeris, the falcon god, and Sobek, the crocodile god. This temple dates back to the Greco-Roman era in Egypt and features interesting carvings and friezes. You’ll have the opportunity to admire scenes from the ancient Egyptian calendar and view medical instruments and more.
Return to Luxor
After a full day of exploration, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor, where the tour concludes.
