Snorkeling Experience at Mahmiya Island

Board one of two Mahmya boats and set sail for approximately one hour towards the southern shores of the Giftun Island National Park. The journey promises scenic views and the anticipation of a day in paradise.

Mahmya, translating to “Protected Area” in Arabic, is located on the pristine shores of Giftun Island. To safeguard the coral reef and marine life, the boats anchor at buoys off the bay. Smaller boats will transport you to the island’s shore.

Once on the island, immerse yourself in the underwater world by snorkeling around impressive coral heads in the clear lagoon. Take a leisurely walk along the sandy beach, engage in beach volleyball with fellow guests, or simply unwind on the pure white sands. The Lounge Area on Mahmya Island offers free Wi-Fi, and an Aqua Trampoline is available for kids.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the island’s restaurant, featuring a selection of seafood and Italian specialties. Later in the day, treat yourself to refreshing drinks at the bar.

As the day comes to an end, sail back from Mahmya Island to the marina. Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted before being transferred to your hotel in Hurghada.
