rilliant Nile cruise with Imperial Egypt – huge thanks to Hady!
We had an absolutely wonderful 3‑night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Imperial Egypt, and our guide Hady Ahmed made this trip unforgettable. He is incredibly knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history, explained every temple with great passion and clarity, and always gave us plenty of time to explore and take photos. He was punctual, thoughtful, and went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly. A lifetime expérience up the river Nile
The trip was amazing and allowed us to visit not only multiple astonishing temples, but also witness the beauty of the river Nile and its surrondings. We are very grateful to Imperial Egypte and all the crew and staff on board who did a great job. It is important for us to mention how great our guide was, and the huge part he had in making our exprience enjoyable and knowledgeable. So a very big thanks to Hady for his disponibility, his knowledge and his organisation which made our trip truly exceptionnal. Great experience (specially the guide)
The best part was our guide Mohammed Abdo, he explained everything so well and in such detail, and was very concerned with our group at all times, he really goes the extra mile so that we can enjoy the trip. Great trip
We had a wonderful time with Hady during our trip from Aswan to Luxor which is wonderful to do. He was warm, friendly, very knowledgeable, and made every temple visit much more enjoyable with his explanations and stories. We booked our trip with Imperial Egypt and everything was perfectly organized and delivered as promised. A great cruise
It was a great cruise. Fast pace and early mornings, but so worth it for all the sights. The ship was clean and comfortable. Taleet, our guide, was excellent. Hady was amazing!
The nile river cruise tour is really the best way to see the historical sites while being able to rest and sail along the nile. Hady was such an amazing and knowledgeable guide. Disappointing Experience – Too Much Talking, Too Little Time
I did not come all the way to Egypt, spending a significant amount of money and using my valuable vacation time, just to be mocked or made uncomfortable by a tour guide. I completely respect a guide who is passionate about explaining the history and details of the sites. However, there needs to be a balance between providing information and allowing guests to actually enjoy and experience the tour. During the tour, more than 90% of the time felt focused on explanations, leaving very little time to take photos. I specifically wanted to take photos when there were fewer people around, but we were constantly told to gather around because the guide needed to continue explaining things. For example, the tour lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes, but approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes were spent listening to explanations, leaving only around 10 minutes to take photos. I came to Egypt to see and photograph these incredible historical sites, not to spend almost the entire tour listening to a lecture. The explanations were also so long that I could not even find a proper opportunity to use the restroom. When we told the guide that we needed to use the bathroom, he told us to wait until after he finished his explanation. Even when someone in our group asked if they could go to the bathroom during the explanation, the guide sarcastically said, “No,” and then followed it with “I’m joking.” When someone genuinely needs to use the restroom, this is not something that should be treated as a joke. Another thing that really bothered me was the smoking. Almost every time we were being taken somewhere, the guide would walk in front of us while smoking. We had to follow behind him while he was smoking, which was extremely unpleasant and frustrating. As paying guests, I do not think we should have to repeatedly walk behind a smoking guide throughout the tour. There was also an uncomfortable amount of pressure regarding tips. The guide repeatedly encouraged us to prepare tips for other staff members. I understand that tipping is common in Egypt and that guests may choose to tip when they receive good service, but repeatedly pressuring guests to prepare tips made us feel uncomfortable. Tipping should be a personal choice based on the service received, not something guests feel pressured into doing. Another issue was that we were taken to places that were not included in the original itinerary. It gave us the impression that the purpose was to take us somewhere where we might be encouraged to purchase products. Also, some members of our group genuinely had difficulty understanding the Egyptian accent when speaking English. Instead of being patient and helping them understand, the guide made them feel embarrassed for not understanding the English. That kind of attitude is not appropriate toward paying guests. Again, I respect the guide's passion and knowledge. However, being knowledgeable and passionate does not justify making guests uncomfortable, rushing their photo time, making jokes at their expense, ignoring reasonable requests such as needing to use the restroom, repeatedly smoking while leading the group, or putting pressure on guests regarding tips. I paid for this tour because I wanted to enjoy Egypt, see the historical sites, take photos, and create good memories. Great experience in Egypt!

Best way to see the sights
Best way to visit the sites along the Aswan and Luxor area. Taking the cruise allows you to rest properly during the travelling periods, food was good as well. Mohammed abdo was our great guide for this trip, as a Luxor native he provided us lots of information about the sights so we could appreciate them more. Imperial Egypt Nile Cruise
I had an amazing experience on this Nile River Cruise and would highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up from the airport in a private car, which made the journey smooth and stress-free. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout the entire trip. The cabin on the cruise was spacious, comfortable, and offered stunning views of the Nile. A special thank you to our tour guide, Hady, who was absolutely outstanding. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian history and culture and shared fascinating insights at every site we visited. More importantly, he genuinely cared about everyone in the group and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our experience. One of the things I appreciated most was the small group size. There were only five people in our group, which made the tour feel much more personal and enjoyable. We never felt rushed, had plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and received a lot of individual attention from Hady. What made this trip even more special was that I celebrated my birthday during the cruise. Hady went above and beyond by arranging a birthday cake for me, which was such a thoughtful surprise. It made me feel truly welcomed and turned an already wonderful trip into an unforgettable memory. Overall, this was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. Excellent organization, beautiful accommodations, breathtaking Nile views, a fantastic small-group atmosphere, and an exceptional guide made this journey truly unforgettable. We had such a wonderful experience on the River Nile Cruise. Our tour guide Hady was exceptional, very knowledge and took the time to explain in detail the history. I would highly recommend Hady to anyone considering booking a tour. A huge thank you to all the waiters, chefs, kitchen staff, housekeeping staff that made our trip a memorable one. Hady Excellent Guide and Amazing Experience
Hady is an excellent guide and truly made our trip to Egypt even more enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and has a great deal of experience, especially when it comes to Ancient Egypt, its history, culture, and monuments. His explanations are detailed, interesting, and very easy to understand. His English is excellent, which made communication and understanding all the historical information very easy. He is also extremely kind, patient, and always willing to help. Throughout our trip, we asked him for different favors and assistance, and he was always happy to help and make sure everything was going well. We had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed the cruise. I would absolutely recommend doing the Nile cruise with Hady as your guide. Great way to see the highlights of Egypt
Six members of our family flew to Aswan to begin this 4 day adventure with our outstanding guide Hady and Imperial Egypt. Hady was exceptional - he looked out for us the entire time, made sure we were hydrated and comfortable, well informed of the plan, and answered all of our questions, on top of all of the education given from site to site. The beginning part of the trip was challenging due to travel fatigue (11h time zone difference from home), which made the series of tours to the Philae Temple, Nubian Village, Abu Simbel, and the Aswan High Dam very tiring.
