Itinerary

Your journey continues as you arrive in Aswan. Upon your arrival, our English-speaking representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to the Sonesta Star Goddess Nile Cruise, where check-in is available before 12:00 PM.

Lunch will be served onboard the Sonesta Star Goddess cruise. After lunch, you will start your tour to explore Aswan’s landmarks.

High Dam

A monumental structure erected in 1960 AD under the leadership of Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser. The dam was constructed to protect Egypt from the annual flooding of the Nile River.

Temple of Philae

You will sail by motorboat to reach the Temple of Philae, built during the Graeco-Roman period and dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple is located on Agilika Island.

Unfinished Obelisk

An incredible red granite obelisk dedicated to the god Amun Ra, reflecting ancient Egyptian craftsmanship.

After concluding your tour, you will return to the ms Sonesta Star Goddess. In the evening, you will have free time to explore Aswan at your leisure.
