The Edfu Temple is one of the most remarkable temples along the Nile, constructed during the Greco-Roman period between 237 and 27 BC. The temple’s walls are adorned with stunning paintings and decorations, skillfully preserved to honor Egypt’s pharaohs. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, the temple commemorates his triumph over Seth, the slayer of his father, Osiris.
