Your incredible journey begins in Aswan, where we will pick up all our guests from various locations such as hotels, the train station, or the airport. You will embark on an amazing tour of Aswan’s most iconic attractions while enjoying the luxury of the Al Hambra Nile Cruise.

Your first stop is the renowned Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel that has had a significant impact on Egypt’s modern history. This monumental structure was constructed during the 1960s to control the annual flooding of the Nile River, safeguarding Egypt from potential disaster.

Following your visit to the High Dam, you’ll set sail aboard a Nile motorboat to reach the majestic Philae Temple. This stunning temple complex, dedicated to the goddess Isis, was relocated to its current location on Philae Island to save it from the rising waters caused by the construction of the High Dam. The temple stands as a testament to ancient Egyptian architecture and devotion.

As your day unfolds, you will have the opportunity to disembark from the cruise. You’ll enjoy a delicious lunch onboard the Al Hambra Nile Cruise, followed by afternoon tea, dinner, and even an evening disco party. Your day begins with an extraordinary excursion to the Abu Simbel Temple Complex. At around 4:30 AM, your guide will pick you up for this adventure, and you’ll be sharing the experience with a small group of fellow travelers. The journey to Abu Simbel is well worth the early start.

You’ll arrive at Abu Simbel around 8 AM to visit one of the most awe-inspiring sites in Egypt: the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel. These temples were constructed for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. The unique design and colossal statues at Abu Simbel make it a remarkable archaeological treasure. You’ll have ample time to explore and appreciate the grandeur of these temples.

After your visit to Abu Simbel, you’ll return to the Al Hambra Nile Cruise by noon to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. The cruise will then set sail, heading towards Kom Ombo city.

In Kom Ombo, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the dual temple dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. The Temple of Kom Ombo is a fascinating example of ancient Egyptian religious architecture.

After your visit to Kom Ombo, you’ll return to the cruise and have dinner onboard. The cruise will continue its journey, sailing to Edfu, where you will spend the night aboard the MS Al Hambra Nile Cruise.

You’ll have approximately 2 hours to explore this impressive temple, learning about its history and significance from your knowledgeable guide.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll arrive at your cruise dock in Luxor. From there, you’ll be transferred to Luxor Temple on the East Bank of Luxor. Valley of the Kings: This is where the pharaohs from the New Kingdom chose to carve their magnificent tombs into the mountains. You’ll have approximately 2 hours to explore this historic site, discovering the grandeur of the royal tombs, including the famous tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari: Next, you’ll visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. This temple is not only architecturally stunning but also has a fascinating history, particularly in relation to Queen Hatshepsut’s reign. You’ll spend about 1 hour exploring this remarkable site.

Temple of Karnak: Returning to the East Bank of Luxor, you’ll encounter the colossal Temple of Karnak. Optional Tour: Excursion to Abu Simbel Temples

For those seeking an extraordinary adventure, we offer an optional excursion to the remarkable Abu Simbel Temples. You can choose to travel either by private coach or by domestic flight. In Aswan, our English-speaking tour guide will greet you and transfer you to Abu Simbel, a site located south of Aswan on the western bank of the Nile, approximately 180 miles south of the First Cataract in what was once Nubia. This historical site, known as Meha in ancient times, was first documented in the 18th Dynasty when Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels carved into the hills to the south.

Upon arrival at Abu Simbel, you will have the privilege of visiting the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel Temples, constructed by the renowned King Ramses II. The larger temple, known as the Great Temple, was dedicated to the revered god Rahorakhty. The smaller temple was dedicated to King Ramses II and his beloved queen, Nefertari.

After a captivating day of exploration, you will return to Aswan, where you can choose to either check in and relax at your selected hotel or proceed to Aswan airport for your domestic flight to Cairo.

Prices are in US dollars per person per trip and you can pay in any other currency. Rates are subject to change in case of any changes in airport taxes, hotel rates, transport rates, or government taxes. Rates are not valid during Christmas or New Year. Travel insurance and entry visa charges are not included in the package.

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking. We are offering a low down payment to secure your spaces on tour: 25% including hotel rooms, cruise cabins and other travel-related services 50% if you have domestic flight tickets included. The remaining balance can be paid up to 2 days before your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, making you’re booking a risk-free investment.

 Verified  Great way to see the highlights of Egypt Six members of our family flew to Aswan to begin this 4 day adventure with our outstanding guide Hady and Imperial Egypt. Hady was exceptional - he looked out for us the entire time, made sure we were hydrated and comfortable, well informed of the plan, and answered all of our questions, on top of all of the education given from site to site. The beginning part of the trip was challenging due to travel fatigue (11h time zone difference from home), which made the series of tours to the Philae Temple, Nubian Village, Abu Simbel, and the Aswan High Dam very tiring. Hady Ahmed, our tour guide, was so great and knowledgeable about all the information about the different temples and mythology of Ancient Egypt. He made sure we all together when he shared history among the busy crowds. He also made sure that we had free time to explore the temples. The cruise itself has been nice and the rooms are comfortable, clean and well air conditioned. The food on the cruise is a buffet, and all the staff are so nice. Mohammed has an incredible amount of knowledge about Ancient Egypt and the various temples and historical sites we visited. What I really appreciated was the way he explained things — not simply giving us dates and facts, but putting the history into context and bringing the stories of Ancient Egypt to life. He was also very professional, friendly and approachable, and was always happy to answer questions and explain things further. You could tell that he genuinely enjoys what he does and takes pride in sharing Egypt’s incredible history with visitors. The cruise itself was a wonderful way to experience the Nile, travelling between the different sites while enjoying the scenery along the river. Waking up each morning and seeing the Nile from the boat was an experience in itself. A big thank you to Mohammed Abdo for making the sightseeing and historical side of the cruise so enjoyable. His knowledge really added another dimension to the experience.  Verified  Imperial cruise on Nile We loved the cruise. All was great. The boat renewal, well decorated, the cabin and all services. Staff very friendly and always available to help. As per our guide, Hady was also great, funny, knowledgeable and available to support us in all situations. Overall I'm very pleased and definitely recommend to book with Imperial Egypt travel.  Verified  Once in a lifetime experience The tour and Nile experience was amazing, really a once in a life time trip Hady was an excellent tour guide! His English is really good , and his archaeological background really stood out. He had so many interesting stories and details that helped us understand the history behind each site.  Verified  History, Hospitality, and Relaxation When looking for a vacation that combines cultural adventure with time to relax, this tour delivers on both. Traveling through ancient Egyptian history while also having time to unwind made for a really enjoyable experience. The food was buffet style with a great variety of options every day, and the quality was consistently excellent. The chefs did a fantastic job, and the hospitality from the rest of the crew made the experience even better. One of the biggest highlights of the tour was our guide, Hady. His archaeological experience from working for more than 10 years at Karnak Temple, along with his many years as a tour guide, really showed. He explained the history and timelines clearly and had an incredible amount of knowledge about the sites we visited. Beyond that, Hady was friendly, approachable, and very good at building a genuine connection with everyone on the tour. His kindness and personality made the excursions that much more enjoyable. Transportation throughout the trip was also very smooth. Whether we were traveling by car, horse carriage, or boat, everything was well organized and there were no delays. The boat itself had some great amenities that we were able to enjoy during our time on board. The spa was a particular highlight, and Hannah provided a very relaxing massage. Afternoon tea was another nice touch, and the evening music, belly dancing, performers, and social events gave everyone an opportunity to relax and socialize. Our room also had a stunning view of the Nile, which made sailing along the river even more special. Overall, this was a wonderful way to experience Egypt while still having plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the journey. The singular complaint is the Wi-Fi service on the boat. The provider is honestly horrendous and does not seem capable of handling the number of people on board. The connection was extremely unstable, with nonstop disconnections and, on multiple days, absolutely no connection at all. I highly advise the travel company to change the Wi-Fi service provider ASAP.

 Verified  Incredible Experience! Hady has been an incredible guide for our tour of the Nile River. He is polite, knowledge and made our experience seamless. He knows the area and history very well and his English is excellent. Hady handled our tickets, transportation and guided us through all of the sites.
